Double Eagle Energy Permian (DEEP) was formed in 2016 through the combination of Veritas Energy Partners (founded by Hollis Sullivan and Post Oak Energy Capital) and Double Eagle Energy Lone Star (founded by Cody Campbell and John Sellers and Apollo Global Management). DEEP owns more than 60,000 net acres (> 70% operated) in the core of the Midland Basin and continues to acquire additional acreage while converting it’s asset base to production and proven reserves through the drill-bit.
