Black Oak Resources, LLC, is a Midland, Texas based private exploration and production company that was formed in 2008 by Post Oak and a partnership controlled by Michael E. Black. Black Oak Resources pursued upstream acquisition and development opportunities in the Permain Basin and Mid-Continent areas.
